Tracking of Mammoth and Ultimate Riders

How does it work?

The tracking system uses the cellular network to track the riders through a small (65 gram) device that the riders will carry with them throughout the entire time they are on the course. The devices will be set to send a signal every 2 to 3 minutes so you can track their progress throughout most of the 101km course. Remember there are some parts of the course that don't have cellular coverage so there will be a break in their track for some areas in the Marlborough Sounds and also between Havelock and Renwick.  This is very much new technology that we are using and thanks to Track Me Live for the chance to operate this new system.
